When people think about selling a home, they often picture the obvious things: putting up a sign, taking photos, listing the property online, and waiting for buyers.
In reality, the work behind a successful sale is much more involved.
On my recent Costa Mesa listing, the process included professional photography, new carpet and updated photos, open houses, neighborhood outreach, social media, direct mail, buyer follow-up, feedback tracking, ongoing pricing strategy, inspection coordination, appraisal preparation, and final clean-out before closing.
Some of those things are highly visible. Others happen quietly behind the scenes.
That is why I believe selling a home is not just about exposure. It is about strategy, persistence, communication, and staying involved from beginning to end.
The sign in the yard is the visible part. The work behind it is an important part of a successful sale.
Whether you’re moving in 9 days or 90 days, having someone who stays engaged throughout the process can make a meaningful difference.
